The committee of Arkendale Community Hall decided to upgrade their sound system and install an HD projector and 3.5 meter wide 16:9 screen to enable them to show films as well as corporate presentation and other media, after an in-depth consultation process the following system was installed, Yamaha Mixer Amplifier, Tannoy VX8 Speakers, NEC NP-PE401H Projector and a Sony Blue Ray player. The result is quite mind blowing, the shear scale and image quality coupled with the precession sound of the Tannoys is about as good as it gets, the venue is a bespoke log cabin type construction which harbors its own acoustic characteristics namely many hard surfaces and zero sound treatment, however as always the Tannoy dual concentric design keeps off axis reflection and thus distortion to a minimum delivering startling clarity and control.

All in all it is probably the best kitted out hall of its size in the area, and as such will offer the local residents a fantastic opportunity to enjoy film and other media for many years to come.
