Wow, less than £120! Shiny black, sound great, about 8/10" tall, been running off my phone, and laptop, but beware if you are running XP, I happen to have Toshiba Bluetooth, and Toshiba supports A2DP protocol, but if not it involved registry chopping! 7/Vista does support it apparently.

Once that rather annoying problem was sorted, logged into spotify and off we go, they are quite hifi, volume/bass/treble on the back, there is plenty of good low bass and the mid and treble are crisp yet warm enough, there are two versions a 4" and 5 1/2" which I plumped for, and on full tilt at 30W are loud enough for a kitchen party!. There is also a phono input on the back, two buttons on the front switch detect on, and toggle between bluetooth and phono, so I have hooked up a CD player which is handy.

The controls being on the back is a bit of a nuisance, could have done with at least the volume and on/off on the front, but they arn't too hard to find while groping round the back.

They do sound nice though so if using in bluetooth mode the lack of control on the front is'nt too much of a problem as volume can be controlled at source, and having set the bass and treble to 2 oclock I hav'nt wanted to tweak them since.

The only other downside, is the noise, there is a hum from the amp, and a whirring from the bluetooth, that said once you are using them its not that noticeable.

One unit houses all teh amp and controles, the othe is passive which makes a lot of sence, they come with a short lenth of speaker cable, I had to extend it, but if you have them on a desk there would be enough.

I am pricing them at £109.00 (4)£119.00 (5) (inc vat and delivery) I think they will do well, and to sort out some of the above issues would probable take the (very reasonable) price up a bit in the long run, but otherwise I am very happy with them 7.5/10 AV:link!
